A service of readings, prayers and music in preparation for Christmas.

Location: Chapel of the Resurrection, Valparaiso University
Tickets: Through VUCA box office or in person at the University Center for the Arts
*VU Faculty, Staff, and Students can reserve their complimentary tickets in person at the VUCA Main Office (next to the Brauer Museum) Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. or through the 2024-2025 Music Season Google form.

This is a ticketed event sponsored by the Department of Music and the Division of Calling & Spiritual Life. Members of the two departments have come together to plan an inspirational evening that will also include hymn singing, scripture, and prayers.

In honor of Valpo’s Lutheran Centennial, Mel Piehl, Senior Research Professor of Humanities and History, will share insights on the University’s rich Lutheran heritage.
This festive meal will showcase a selection of Christmas dishes from around the world, reflecting Valparaiso University’s global influence and also the international impact of the Lutheran tradition.
