THE VALUE OF VALPO

Quality, Value, Success -- Hallmarks of a Valpo Education

For the eighteenth consecutive year, US News & World Report has ranked Valparaiso University as one of the Midwest's top master's-level universities based on quality and value.  This honor reflects the University's commitment to providing excellence in liberal arts and professional studies and to helping students strengthen the intangibles of faith, morals, and ethics.

We believe the overall quality and value of a Valparaiso University education can be measured in the success of its graduates. There are certain commonalities among VU grads: pursuit of advanced degrees at top schools, global interests, rapid promotion, and employment with prestigious companies and organization (94.8% placement rating in 2007).  Our successful young people discover themselves amid Valpo's rigorous academic environment, liberal arts soul, and extensive leadership development opportunities. Valpo graduates are proven, steadfast leaders in career, church, and community, who demonstrate integrity and sensitivity to their diverse neighbors and colleagues. They are the product of a very personal education that connects theory to practice and puts faith at the center of learning.
